After dangerous fire conditions initially kept crews from reaching the crash site, officials say they were able to fly investigators into the area and recover the bodies of the two crew members killed while fighting Utah’s Widemouth 2 Fire. The remains were then escorted to the state medical examiner’s office. Officials said the investigation into the helicopter crash will now involve the agencies with jurisdiction over the aircraft.
